IDJ (Idea Journal)

IDJ 01

so for this IDJ, we were told to befriend with an OBJECT! (how weird does that sound!) and i was chosen to partner up with a 'cloth hanger'. (making a friend as in we have to write every detail of what we know about that 'thing') *the object will be related with other IDJs so this will be my object until the end of the course.*

Reflections: From my lecturer's review my logo and name has a problem, basically i lack 'process' such as brainstorming. i learn how to improve my process skills

IDJ 02

For this IDJ we have to put up what the object can do and what the object cannot do, be specific!

Result: B+

Reflection: My range of imagination have expanded due to this! i really have to think very creatively to score high so i gave the one which are very thoughtful or even funny ones.

IDJ 03

For this IDJ we were told to create a new superhero based on our object in which i have to make an object about cloth hangers

Result: A-
Reflections: through this IDJ i became more aware of what defines something like a superhero, you won't know it's a hero unless it has powers but that's not enough. To be more specific, the hero has to have an enemy, hero looking costume, fighting against crime, saving people, a good person and many more.

IDJ 04

This IDJ is about Metaphor, Similes, Analogy and Personification. We are to set 3 examples of each concept that relates to the daily object (mine's a cloth hanger) and 1 example that can be anything.

Reflections:
This IDJ made me research about each of those (Metaphor, Similes, Analogy and Personification) concepts which gives me more understanding. This can develop us a new way of thinking.
